Pan Am travel poster

I scored this vintage Pan Am Kaua'i (the "Garden Isle") travel poster on Ebay and had it professionally framed. It looks much better in person, the colors are not true in these photos. The poster, a photo itself, includes people standing on the beach.

If you are looking at this online, you can click on the photo for a closer view.

Weekend yard, Athens

got a faux rattan bird feeder for the yard... so far the squirrels have not jumped on top of it.

purple crocuses appeared...

saw the first Lizard of Spring...

and the daffodils started blooming.

Weekend in Athens, GA

Crocuses coming up in the yard...

Went to Agora and haggled for this Hawaiiana collectible I've had my eye on for 6 mos. - a Lego Hula Girl head. After purchase, Mitch revealed he had been planning to get it for me for Valentine's! Says he has to go back to the drawing board.

Happy Mardi Gras!

My family sent photos from Mardi Gras today. Now my cyber friends can have more evidence as to why I am the way I am. Haha! DAT'S NEW ORLEANS, BABY!

My friend Trecia sent me a wonderful wash cloth she crocheted, along with a fancy herbal soap as part of a Christmas package. Love it.

Here's my progress to date on my knitted vest. "Back to School Vest" pattern by Stefanie Japel in her book, "Fitted Knits".
